Plan of Salvation
God’s Plan of Salvation for the Human Race
God created us to honor and serve Him.
Revelation 4:11: Thou art worthy, O Lord to receive glory and honor and power; for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
Each of us has sinned and rebelled against God.
Romans 3:10: As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one.
Romans 3:23: For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
The penalty for our sin is eternal death.
Romans 6:23: For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Neither our good works nor religious ceremonies can earn God’s forgiveness.
Titus 3:5: Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us.
God loves each of us.
John 3:16: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Jesus Christ died on the cross in our place paying the penalty for our sin.
Romans 5:8: But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Each person must acknowledge Jesus Christ as his or her personal Savior from sin.
Romans 10:9: That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Romans 10:13: For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
